Welcome To Pleasant View Camps, On Beautiful Black Lake NY

For many years Pleasant View has been welcoming families and fishermen to a friendly atmosphere overlooking beautiful Black Lake in Northern New York. Our light housekeeping cottages range in size from one bedroom to four bedrooms and are equipped with hot showers, electric refrigeration, gas stoves for cooking, heat, screened front porches, air conditioning and some with 2 full baths. Three of our newest, cabins 11, 15 and 16, are wheel chair friendly with entrance ramp and a handicap bathroom.

We'll Meet Your Needs

At Pleasant View you can drive your car right to your cottage - making it very easy to unload your gear. We also offer full camper hookups and boats and motors for rent - or you can bring your own boat and motor. We have great docks and a lighthouse to find your way back at night.

Top Ranked Fishing

Black Lake is widely known for it's large and small mouth bass, northern pike and crappies. Early spring is great for bullhead fishing and big catfish are caught all year long. Then there are always panfish to keep the fishermen busy. Fishing licenses and bait of all kinds can be purchased within a few minutes of the camp. We are approved by the North American Fishing Club.
